What is a SplatRBall?
SplatRBall is an exciting team sport where two teams of (usually) five players each battle against each other using splatrguns modified with homemade ramps and obstacles for an extra layer of difficulty. Players take turns shooting at the opposing teamās āfortressā while simultaneously trying to avoid getting shot themselves by hiding behind obstacles or running around them quickly. The team who eliminates all players from the opposing team or gains control of their fortress first wins the game!
SplatRBall: Rules and Regulations
The rules of SplatRBall are simple but important – safety always comes first! All players must wear protective gear such as masks, gloves, long pants, long-sleeved shirts, chest protectors, and elbow/knee pads at all times while playing. Referees (me & my wife usually) will be on hand at each game to ensure that these rules are followed closely so that everyone can enjoy a safe experience on the field. Additionally, teams must agree beforehand how many points they will play for before starting their match as well as any other special regulations they may wish to include. In our familly, we have the main rule NO HEADSHOTS and it is not allowed to shoot our pets š
SplatRBall Equipment
SplatRBall requires some specialized equipment in order for teams to play safely and competitively against one another – namely splat guns with ramps/obstacles attached (optional). Other items needed include protective gear such as masks/gloves/long pants/long-sleeved shirts/chest protectors/elbow & knee pads; squeegees; replacement parts (for maintenance); spare paintballs; flags & flag stands for marking boundaries; referee whistles & scoreboards (if desired); plus any additional items agreed upon by both teams before starting their match. Depending on what type of setup you choose when assembling your fortress or course layout – additional items may be needed such as foam blocks or hay bales etc..
